Cottage SPOONVALLEY, which stands in the middle of the 280,000m² private farm “Spoon Valley”, is a two-story cottage house and is limited to 5 groups per day. The charred butter-colored cottage perched on a sprawling hill looks like something out of a picture book. The private space of 80m² in the room has a terrace, so you can use it like a villa.

Shiki (美瑛の小さな宿 四季)
Shiki is a cottage limited to 3 groups per day. There are large, medium, and small types of cottages. The large type uses futons for up to 5 people, the medium type uses futons for up to 4 people, and the small type has 2 beds and a sofa bed for up to 3 people.
Meals are served in the main dining room. The owner and his wife are certified Hokkaido Food Meisters, so you can enjoy European-style home-cooked meals that make the most of the ingredients produced in Biei, along with homemade bread and wine. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese and Western dishes.
The second floor of the main building can be used as a living room, so you may enjoy interacting with other guests! From autumn to early spring, we recommend spending time relaxing in front of the wood-burning stove.

Located in Biei Shirogane no Mori, SHIROGANE ONSEN MORINO RYOTEI BIEI is a Japanese-style hot spring inn where you can relax with the scent of Sukiya-zukuri wood and free-flowing hot spring water. Located on a patchwork hill, Tomte run is a B&B that is limited to 5 groups per day. Tomte run means “tomte” (forest fairy) and “rum” (room) in Swedish. The building is a Scandinavian imported house called Sweden House, and outside the large windows you can enjoy a magnificent view of the vast hills and the Tokachi mountain range.
The interior of the guest room is also Scandinavian-style with a focus on solid wood furniture. In addition to twin rooms, triple rooms, and Japanese-style rooms, there is one premium “Scandinavian Room Musig” that focuses on Scandinavian interiors.
There are no TVs in the building or rooms, but instead there are books, picture books, imported European board games, etc., so you can spend a relaxing time away from everyday life!
The hill behind the building is a great spot for sunsets. On a clear night, the sky is full of stars, and shooting stars are clearly visible. You can enjoy a beautiful starry sky that cannot be seen in the city.

Pension Hoshigaoka (丘上の一軒宿 星ヶ丘)

Since there is a mini observatory, people of all ages, from small children to seniors, can enjoy astronomical observation. As of June 2022, dinner will not be served, so the plan will be one night with breakfast. Once dinner is resumed, you will be able to experience a meal in the impressive sunset at only 3 tables per day.
There is self-made coffee and tea in the living room, so you can spend a relaxing time looking at the hills of Biei from the large windows.
